Despite not being able to go anywhere or do anything, life has been good. February hasn't been too different from January other than the amount of food I've consumed.

Anybody that knows me well knows I'm a proper foodie and my go-to comfort food is a good pizza. This month I have not held back showing my love for it. I've tried two new pizzas places in Bristol

called Pizza Capone and Pizzarova. Both were DELICIOUS. If you're in the Bristol area give them a try!

Our greatest achievement for this month was getting the first work done to our home!! Woo! A gas meter has finally been installed in our front vault reading to get gas heating. It feels so good to finally get something done and we're super excited to start renovating the inside. It will be a well earned treat for us after working hard on the business.

Talking about the business, plans have changed since my last blog. Tyler decided that we should diversify sales channels by revamping our website and directing customers there instead of relying primarily on Amazon for sales. Tyler has done an amazing job of getting the website customer ready and the ads have started this morning! 🎉 Our customers have nothing but amazing things to say about our products so we're feeling super hopeful that the ads will convert well.

In other weird news, Tyler has started a carnivore diet which he has taken to very well. He's eating 2 steaks and a cup of bone broth every night and during the day he usually eats scrambled eggs or a combination of eggs, avocado and salmon. Since starting the carnivore diet last week he's lost 1.5lbs! The carnivore diet helps with weight loss, lower inflammation, higher testosterone, fewer digestive problems, increased mental clarity and Tyler seems to be experiencing all of the above already. As much as I like steak, the carnivore diet isn't something I want to participate in just yet, I'm enjoying my varied dinners and being able to be spontaneous with food. If I do try it I'd probably only do it for a couple weeks. Tyler doesn't seem to be struggling too much (yet) but he has said that he misses the varied food options.

The last Sunday of the month was particularly enjoyable, the sun was shining all day without a cloud in the sky. Tyler and I went for a lovely walk and a coffee and then attended to our flower bed in the garden. We pulled a tree trunk and root out and pulled up the remaining weeds. I'm very excited to plant some flowers and make it look less like a dirt patch for the summer.

And of course, we had the government announcement about the plan moving out of lockdown in the coming months. I think everyone is in agreement about the excitement they feel of returning to normal life. If you want a good visual road map to summer, this site is great https://isitopenyet.co.uk/ for that.

Keep positive, keep smiling and have a great March. 😊 See you in spring! 🌷

Thanks for reading,

Sophie 🐻
